November / January
Day 1: Flight to Mendoza
Departure from the selected British or European airport to go to Mendoza.
Day 2: Mendoza (760m)
Upon your arrival in Mendoza you will be welcomed by our team at the airport and escorted to your hotel. The day will be spent to check your equipment and to rent whatever necessary. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Mendoza - Puente del Inca (2 725m)
After breakfast; our team will pick you up to go issue your climbing permit. Afterwards, we will drive to Puente Del Inca. In the afternoon, the mules and packing will be prepared for the next day's trek. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Puente del Inca - Confluencia (3 300m)
After breakfast we head for the entrance of the Aconcagua National Park, where our climbing permit is checked. then we start on our trek to reach our camp at Confluencia. Our luggage will be carried by the mules. Upon our arrival at Confluencia the tents will already have been installed and you will have the opportunity to rest.
Day 5: Confluencia - Plaza Francia (4 000m) - Confluencia
After breakfast we start our acclimatization trek to Plaza Francia. We have lunch in front of the southern slope of Mt. Aconcagua. After lunch we return to Confluencia, as part of the acclimatization program.
Day 6: Confluencia - Plaza de Mulas (4 290m) / (14,074 ft.)
Early start for an 8h trek to reach base camp at Plaza de Mulas. This hike is a long one, but is very beautiful. Overnight in tents.
Day 7: Plaza de Mulas
After the previous day long hike, this rest day is welcome ! You will discover our great base camp for acclimatization and meet all the team who will take care of you during your stay in Plaza de Mulas. Cooks, Large tents, Internet, Outdoor living room to do short nap, large kitchen tent to prepare all the meals you enjoy etc... our base camp is very well located with an amaizing view all over.
Day 8: Plaza de Mulas - Camp 1 "Canada" (4 910m) - Plaza de Mulas
Our acclimatization program continues with a trek to camp I "Canada" - at 4 910m where we have lunch and remain there for some time to acclimatize more. We then return to base camp at Plaza de Mulas. Day's hike will take approximately 5 hours. Overnight in tents.
Day 9: Plaza de Mulas
2nd Rest day to acclimatize and check equipment.
Day 10: Plaza de Mulas
3 rd Rest day to acclimatize and check equipment.
Day 11: Plaza de Mulas - Camp 1 "Canada" (4 910m) - Plaza de Mulas
This will be our first day nearby the 5000 m.. This is also the first higher hike we will do after 3 very nice acclimatisation days spend in our base camp. In the morning, we take our dayli bag, our plastic boots and we start our hike to reach Camp Canada in about 3 hours. At the arrival, we enjoy a nice lucnh with an amaizing view. After we return back to our base camp to get ready for the next day.
Day 12: Plaza de Mulas - Camp 1 "Canada" (4 910m)
This hike will be little harder than the previous day one as we carry our pack and our gear to reach Camp 1. Lunch and camp set up. You will start to feel the impact of altitude on your body. Overnight in tents.
Day 13: Camp 1 "Canada" - Camp 2 "Nido de Condores" (5 250m)
After breakfast, departure to reach camp II " Nido de Condores" in approximately 4/5hours. Lunch and camp set up (tents). The day is dedicated to acclimatization. You will continue to feel the effects of altitude but your body is already reacting better. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 14: Camp 2 "Nido de Condores" - Camp 3 "Colera" (5 900m)
Breakfast. Departure to camp "Colera" on a 4h trek. This day is difficult and will require all your energy and concentration. Lunch and installation of the tents. This is the last camp at this altitude prior to the summit ascent. Overnight in tents.
Day 15: SUMMIT Aconcagua (6 962m) / (22,841 ft.)
This is D day. The group will get up early. After a cup of tea or coffee we will start the ascent. This day will be long and exhausting, with a round walk of approx. 12 hours. The progression will be at your own pace and we will reach the summit in approx. 6 to 8 hours. After summiting and a picture we will return to Berlin in approx. 4 to 6 hours depending on your pace. Overnight stay in tents..
Day 18: Camp 3 "Cholera" - Plaza de Mulas

Day 17 : Camp 3 " Cholera" - Plaza de Mulas

Day 18: Camp 3 " Colera" - Plaza de Mulas
After breakfast return to the base camp at Plaza de Mulas. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 19: Plaza de Mulas - Mendoza
Departure after breakfast to Puente del Inca. The mules will carry down your packs. A last look at the Aconcagua. Then Transfer to Mendoza by car. We arrive in Mendoza early evening and you will be transferred to your hotel for a well earned rest. Diner with the group to appreciate the local dishes and to share again the emotions of the previous days. Night in Hotel.
Day 20: Transfer to the airport
Transfer to Mendoza airport to catch the return flight
Day 21: Arrival Europe
