During this expedition you will discover lake Titicaca and its turquoise waters. Then you will go on one of the most beautiful treks of Bolivia, the Takesi trek. You will witness the contrast between the Bolivian altiplano (dry desert) and the Amazon valleys (humid and luxuriant). You will move next to the Chilean border on a real expedition in the National Park of Sajama. Our objective after having acclimatized the past few days: The summit of the Parinacota 6 342m. This volcano located on the western side of the cordillera, is characterized by its perfect conical shape and the presence of snow. The absence of any glacier makes its ascent technically easy; the main challenge of this extraordinary expedition is the altitude of 6 342m. An easy 6 000m!!!

A smooth expedition, especially through the step-by-step acclimatization process with two preparation treks prior to the expedition in high altitude. Walk along the Titicaca lake and the antic city of Tiwanaku, and then enjoy the Takesi trek (Inka trail), one of the most beautiful treks of Bolivia. You will appreciate the contrasts between the altiplano and the humid valleys of the Yungas dominating the Amazon region. Afterwards, we will head towards the Chilean border in the National park of Sajama to start the expedition to the summit of the Parinacota.
