As soon as you arrive in this timeless area, you will feel the peace and serenity wash over you. Scattered with imposing towers that were sculpted by the wind and described by T.E. Lawrence as a “long wall of rock, sheering in like a thousand foot wave towards the middle of the valley..." Wadi Rum is made even more magical by its history. Along with your Bedouin guide, you will walk for 4-5 hours a day and in the evenings your guide will make local history come alive for you each evening.

After we leave Wadi Rum, we spend two days visiting the Nabataean treasures in Petra. This city is located on the caravan crossroads of Arabia, Egypt, and Syria, and is protected by UNESCO as it is part of the World Heritage Program. Half-built, half-sculpted, Petra combines ancient oriental influences with Hellenic architecture.
