High altitude trekking

A life time adrenalian adventure in one of the most challenging technical peak in the midst of the giant 8000m peaks of Everest. It is one of the full scale climbing expedition, taking one month for the trek and climb. Baruntse peak with ridges, forms the icy wall between the Barun valley, Hinko valley and the Imjatse valley of the Khumbu area. Most of the ascent is done via Sherpani and West col and is technically tough in most places. A true challenge to experienced muntaineers.

The approach follows a picturesque and rarely trekked route, which passes through moraine and ice path with beautiful views of the Amadablam, Mera Peak, Makalu and Chamlang. The higher camp leads to the foot of the Barun glacier, from where most of the climbing is done. Baruntse lies hidden behind the peak 4 and in between the East and West col of Makalu.
