A legendary mountain. Put yourself in the shoes of Sir Edmund Hillary, the leader of the first ever team to conquer Everest, and follow in their footsteps so that you too can get to know the highest mountain in the world. This trek tops all other expeditions in Nepal. During the whole trek you will have the summit right in front of you, getting ever-closer until the end of the climb at Kalapathar, just above the base camp. Since the trek starts at 3 000m and culminates to 5 000m it requires significant previous trekking experience, but the breathtaking scenery will be worth all of your effort.

We follow the path of legends like Sir Hillary and Marc Batard and experience how they felt at the Everest BC. Home of the renowned Sherpas, the mountain and the region need no introduction. The trek passes through the picturesque Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar, culminating in the ascent of Kala Patthar - from where the classic views of Everest and its surrounding peaks are available. Most of the trek is spent above altitudes of 3 000m. Although this is a short trek by Nepal standards, there will still be plenty of time to enjoy the culture of the Sherpas and to give in to its charms. Visit ancient monasteries and learn how Lamaistic Buddhism influences Sherpa life. We shall stop at many of the numerous teahouses, sip a glass of sweetened tea or Chang (rice beer) and get a taste of the unique Sherpa hospitality.
