An extraordinary trek in a beautiful and remote area of Peru

A physically challenging trek that is incredibly rewarding... In the heart of the Huayhuash Cordillera, which is well known for the diversity of its panoramic landscapes and eco-systems. You will enjoy the unique sceneries of green valleys, mountain lakes and high summits.

A gradual acclimatisation program

This trek has been designed in order to ensure that your journey is completed in total safety. It starts with an acclimatisation trek, followed by daily hikes of 12 to 15 km, progressing at your own pace and acclimatising gradually to the altitude.

ITINERARY

Days 1 to 2 :

Flight to Lima. Arrival

Day 3 :

Sightseeing in Lima and transfer to Huaraz

Day 4 :

Acclimatisation trek

Days 5 to 6 :

Transfer to Huaraz and Pocpa Cuartel Huayin, starting point of the trek

Days 7 to 9 :

Lake Carhuacocha, Huayhuash

Days 10 to 12 :

Viconga, Rinconada, Huatic

Days 13 to 14 :

Laguna Jahuacocha and return to Huaraz

Day 15 :

Transfer to Lima

Day 16:

Airport transfer for return flight

Day 17:

Arrival
