| Day 2 : Kilimanjaro – Lodge (700 m) |

Arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, meet and greet by our team, transfer to Arumeru River lodge for the night. Built on an ancient coffee plantation, south of the main Arusha-Moshi, 35 minutes drive from the international airport and only 15 minute away from Arusha. |

| Day 3 : National Park of Arusha (2 750 m) |
|
Early transfer to the Arusha National Park. Guides and porters will be waiting for you at « Momella gate » where you will complete the necessary registration formalities. You will then start your trek to reach Miriakamba hut for the night (2750m). From Momella gate, you have the choice between two itineraries: the first one passes through the forest and takes about 5h, the second one, more physical but shorter (3-4h) will enable you to catch the spectacular scenery of Momella lake and Mt Kilimanjaro in the background. |

| Day 4 : Miriakamba - Saddle Hut (3 600 m) |
|
After breakfast, you start on a 3-4h trek to reach Saddle Hut (3600m), from there you have an amaizing view on Momella lake, Meru crater, little Meru (3801m), Mt Kilimanjaro, the high plateaus of the Ngorongoro, the diversity of fauna and flora and in the far background the city of Arusha.If daytime is rather warm, evenings are quite chilly. Overnight in refuge. |

| Day 5 : Summit Mt Meru (4 566 m) (F) |
|
Early departure for the summit at 4566m, approximately 5 to 6h ascent. Return to camp Miriakamba (2 750 m). Night at refuge. |

| Day 7 : Camp Machame (5-6h) – (3 000 m) |
|
Transfer to Kilimanjaro National Park, where your new team of guides and porters will be waiting for you. After registration formalities, you start on your trek from an altitude of 1800m for an ascent to Machame camp at 3000m (5-6h). View on the Kibo glacier. Night in camp. |

| Day 8 : Camp Shira (4-5h) – (3 800 m) |
|
Short trek of (4-5h), with a passage at « Picnic rock », a high semi-circulat rocky wall, where you will have an exceptional view of Shira plateau and Kibo glacier. Rest and continuation to camp Shira at 3 800m. Night in camp. |

| Day 9 : Camp Barranco (5-6h) - (4 200 m) |
|
A strenuous ascent to camp Barranco today at 4 200m. Afternoon dedicated to rest. Night in camp. |

| Day 10 : Camp Karanga (5-6h) – (3 900 m) |
|
Soft ascent to give a chance to admire the panoramic views. You now have left behind the dense vegetation, and the plateau gives way to a volcanic landscape all the way to the altitude of 4 550m before going down to camp Karanga at 3 900m (5-6h). Night in camp. |

| Day 11 : Camp Barafu (5-6h) – (4 800 m) |
|
After breakfast, you will start by crossing the Barafu wall, through the Barafu valley. Lunch at 4200m at the junction of Mweka trail. Arrival at camp Barafu 4 800m for the night. Rest and preparation for summit day. |

| Day 12 : Summit Kilimandjaro (5 963 m) |
|
Night departure to Stella camp at 5 735m, followed by Uhuru at 5 895m, before reaching the summit at 5 963m. Just in time to watch the sunrise on the beautiful landscape surrounding us. Return to Mweka camp at 3 000m, crossing coffee and banana plantations before arriving at Mweka village for the evening. |

| Day 13 : Transfer to airport |
|
Breakfast, you pack up and trek back to the park's entrance, to receive your award. Transfer to airport for return flight. |
