| Prayer Flags and Mantras |
This magical trip brings you closer to the richness of Tibetan history and culture that remains deeply rooted in Buddhism. This is a country where monks still chant their enlightening religious mantras in the same way that they have been doing for centuries. The prayers on the flags flutter in the wind against the immaculate summits and the desert-like landscape in the background. You are standing on the "Roof of the World". |

| An Unforgettable Experience |
The trip starts in the former capital of the Kingdom, Yarlung, where the tombs of its kings and the Yambhulkakhang Temple are situated, and where Tibet’s history started in the 7th Century. We then move on to the forbidden town of Lhassa, where we dive into the past with Potala Palace, the Jokhang Temple, and many sacred monasteries that make our time here unforgettable. Further afield there is the vast religious complex of Tashilhumpo with a 26m high Buddha statue, or the Khumbum Stupa with its golden cupolas. To finish, we visit the ancient towns of Shigatse and Gyantse, the latter with its military square that dominates the town, reminding everyone of the battles that took place to protect and maintain the Tibetan culture. |
