However, it was also a source of wealth to these merchant cities, which secured the prosperity of Uzbekistan and made it the pearl of Central Asia and the perfect example of a cultural melting pot.

Your 10 days trek will take you accross the Fanskye Range, to the foothills of the Pamir Range, where you will pass clearwater lakes, shining glaciers and the wild countryside of Tadjikistan. You will meet local people that live in these mountains and sheperds who are renowned for their kind hospitality.
